The building site Bord à Bord, from Plestin les Grèves (22), will deliver 4 open aluminum boats to the NGO Sea Shepherd tomorrow.
These 4 Dervinis 620 type vedettes measure 6,20m long and are powered by outboards, with 150hp engines, an operation carried out by the engine manufacturer Applimar.
These 4 Dervinis feature a shell decorated with the NGO's famous skull logo, made using plastic film installed by the company Le Friant.
For the construction site, the Dervinis won over the NGO with its efficiency, performance, modularity and great resistance, the aluminium hull requiring no particular maintenance!
Within the Sea Shepherd fleet, these 4 new unsinkable vedettes will be assigned to the Faroe Islands, where the NGO is leading a merciless fight against local practices towards cetaceans, via the “Grind Stop 2014” campaign.
