The capsizing of the hull of Lifesong, a 24-meter sailboat designed for ice, is the perfect illustration: more than 10 tons of aluminum carefully handled, thanks to a controlled logistics and complicity of a trusted local partnerA symbolic turning point in the construction of this exceptional boat.
A high-precision technical operation
As part of the construction of the Lifesong sailboat , designed by Vincent Lebailly Yacht Design , we carried out the turning of the aluminum hull, which weighed an impressive little over 10 tons.
This massive operation was carried out by our logistics partner: ADM Le Roux in Guingamp, a specialist in heavy handling
This operation, which may seem impressive from the outside, is the result of a careful preparation : lifting plan, site security, team synchronization.
Result: a smooth turnaround, which allows move on to the next stage of planning.

Lifesong is not a sailboat like the others.
With 24 meters long and aluminum hull suitable for extreme environments, it was designed to navigate in polar areas or areas highly exposed to severe conditions.
